Mash Notes
Oops, no propane for the grill, must sacrifice for dinner. Steep grains in 2 gal hot water, 150 degrees, for half hour. Drain and remove grain bag, bring wort to boil. Add 1 oz. Goldings hops, boil 25 minutes. Add 1 oz. Goldings hops for aroma, boil 5 min. longer. Mix in LME, let stand while you clean up after the extract weighing ;-) Drain kettle into fermenter on top of 2 gal cold water, top off to volume with cold water.

Notes
Specialty grains $1.69/ lb. Malt Extract $ 1.70/lb.
